We both lived in Omaha but met in Kansas City.
Our mutual friend, Amanda, introduced us at a conference party over cocktails.
This photo was the first picture of us after knowing each other for a day at Big Kansas City. Three months later Tony’s company, Flywheel, hosted a meetup at a local bar, Krug Park. Kelsey was there to meet a friend. Instead she spent the whole night talking with Tony.
Two months later (yes, two. whole. months. later), Tony asked Kelsey out over Twitter (a very “2013” thing to do). They went to a Dessa concert at the Waiting Room. Then she asked him out. And he asked her out. And now, almost 6 years later, we’re getting married.
